ALL YOU NEED TO KNOW

ALL YOU NEED TO KNOW

Real stories from students who found confidence, passion, and joy through figure skating.

Who is the Peak Ice Camp designed for?

Peak Ice Camps are designed for competitive and aspiring competitive skaters who are actively training and developing their skills. The program is not suitable for adult skaters or recreational-level participants.

How are training groups decided?

Skaters are placed into training groups based on skill level, experience, and development goals. On the first day of each camp week, coaches carefully review placements to ensure each skater is in the most suitable group. Adjustments may be made to support the best possible progress.

Will my child be supervised during the day?

Skaters are supervised during all on-ice and off-ice sessions. Between sessions, parents remain responsible for their child unless otherwise specified. Courmayeur is a safe and walkable town, but younger skaters should always be accompanied outside scheduled activities.

How do we receive the final schedule?

All detailed and personalised schedules are shared exclusively through the Peak Ice App. Parents and skaters will receive access closer to the camp start date. No detailed schedules are sent by email to ensure clarity and up-to-date information.

Are private lessons available?

Yes. Private lessons with Peak Ice coaches can be requested through the Peak Ice App approximately one week before camp. Availability is limited, and while preferences are considered, specific coaches or time slots cannot be guaranteed.

What about meals during the camp?

Lunch options are available at the Ice Café inside the rink, where Peak Ice athletes benefit from a special offer. A choice of hot meals is available daily. Parents can also enjoy refreshments and Italian coffee on site.

Is physiotherapy available?

Yes. A professional physiotherapist is available throughout the entire camp. Sessions can be booked during camp and are ideal for recovery, injury prevention, and performance support.

What happens if the schedule changes?

Camp schedules may occasionally be adjusted due to operational or training needs. Any updates will be communicated promptly through the Peak Ice App.

Can parents watch training sessions?

Parents are welcome to watch from designated viewing areas, respecting rink rules and training focus. Certain sessions or moments may be restricted at the coaches’ discretion.

How do we prepare before arrival?

Before arriving, please ensure: skates and equipment are in good condition, the Peak Ice App is downloaded and set up, travel and accommodation are confirmed, skaters are physically prepared for intensive training
